- The headline "Gaza truce shattered by deadly Israeli tank fire" and associated story is a complete lie. Even the anti-Israel UN has stated that the ceasefire was broken by Hamas within minutes when it killed two Israeli soldiers and kidnapped a third after a suicide bombing. Moreover, Hamas rockets never stopped firing at Israel.
- The other two pieces are both 'human interest stories' purely from a Palestinian perspective inside Gaza to garner sympathy for the plight of 'ordinary Palestinians' (the Standard does not inform its reader that all reporters in Gaza are under the total control of Hamas in what they can see and report). I believe the 'depatch' by Kim Sengupta is a daily feature. Note that the Standard would never inform its readers that these poor Palestinians voted almost unanimously for Hamas in the one and only democratice election they ever had. Also note the Standard would never dream of presenting the Israeli perspective. let alone describe what ordinary Israelis are going through.
- Despite everything going on in Libya today and the Ukraine (not to mention Syria and Iraq) there are no other items of 'international news'.
Incidentally the Standard was not alone in reporting that Israeli tank fire was the cause of the ceasefire breach. Every news report this morning in the UK was spitting blood at Israel with the same accusation. Even Fox News jumped on the bandwagon with its morning reporters speaking in the most appalling accusatory way about Israel's actions (very disappointed in particular with the tone used by Heather Childers of all people).

This Matan Gotlib story is a myth of epic proportions.
1. There weren't any Palestinian children involved.
2. COGAT has officially declared it wasn't a clinic much less a UN clinic. In fact for the last THREE years COGAT only had the house registered as a "sensitive area."
3. Israeli terrorists did break the ceasefire and have bombing Gaza continuously before the current ongoing massacre of innocent human beings.
4. There was no Israeli terrorist kidnapped!!!!!
5. A HUMAN interest piece regarding HUMAN NEWBORN TRIPLETS IS NEITHER anti-Semitic nor offensive.
5. Only a brain dead idiot would believe that ALL of a country's citizens are liable for the actions of that country's government.
