Obama to renew diplomatic ties with Nazi Germany

Following President Obama's brave executive decision last week to renew diplomatic ties with communist Cuba and the announcement yesterday of his intention to renew ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran, comes news today that Obama is finally renewing ties with Nazi Germany. The White House has issued the following statement:
"The 70-year boycott and demonization of Nazi Germany has achieved nothing for the German people. Moreover, the boycott has infringed the rights of those decent hard-working Americans who seek nothing more than legal affiliation to Nazi parties and friendship with Nazis around the world. The Nazi party leadership has recently demonstrated its commitment to our shared values, especially with respect to our common support for the Muslim Brotherhood in various countries and the need to stand up to the world's biggest threats: Israeli settlements and climate change.
It is becoming increasingly clear that, in the age of smart diplomacy, any actions against supposed 'enemies' are inevitably counter-productive. Military action against such countries is always wrong, but boycotts and sanctions also never work."
In other news President Obama announced the closure of the American Embassy in Israel and a range of sanctions against the country for its continued outrageous actions in building new homes for its citizens. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu protested the move, but White House spokeman Jen Psaki responded by saying:
"Prime Minister Netanyahu is a hypocrite whose behaviour is simply unacceptable"

Is anti-Zionism the same as antisemitism?

The standard defence against any accusation of antisemitism nowadays is to claim that you are an anti-Zionist (generally considered by the main stream media to be a good, liberal, enlightened position) and not an antisemite (generally considered by the main stream media to be a very bad thing). So, following on from my previous posts (the difference between the Nazi boycott of Jews and the Israel boycott movement, and what leftists really believe) I have produced a chart below which obviously confirms that anti-Zionism and antisemitism have absolutely nothing in common*.

Exclusive: EU Commissioner explains why Hamas is no longer considered a terrorist organisation

The EU Commissioner Mr Eichate DeJuz (who has special responsibility for Middle East Affairs) today issued the following statement in response to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's criticism of the EU decision to remove Hamas from the list of designated terrorist organisations.
"The Zionist leader has questioned why Hamas is no longer considered a terrorist organisation while ISIS remains on the list. We are frankly insulted by such a question because the differences between ISIS and Hamas are enormous.
ISIS is a Sunni Islamist supremacist anti-Semitic organisation that practises brutal sadistic Sharia repression over all citizens under its control, indiscriminately targets and murders civilians, believes all non-Muslims and women are inferior and seeks a world-wide caliphate governed by Sharia law.
On the other hand Hamas is a Sunni Islamist supremacist anti-Semitic organisation that practises brutal sadistic Sharia repression over all citizens under its control, indiscriminately targets and murders civilians, believes all non-Muslims and women are inferior and seeks a world-wide caliphate governed by Sharia law. But what especially convinced us of Hamas's non-terrorist credentials were that Hamas has the support of all progressive thinkers in the West and, for the time being, restricts its murder mainly to Jews and its political opponents."
In other news President Obama announced that he will continue to negotiate with the Afghan Taliban as they are in no way related to the Pakistani Taliban, and David Cameron - along with all Western leaders - said that Islam has nothing to do with Islam.

Jihad in Australia: nothing to do with Islam

Sheikh Haron: now comes the media's desparate attempt to cover up his extensive Islamic fundamalism

To save you reading the main stream media reporting of the Jihadist attack in Australia it can be summarised as follows:
  • This was not a terrorist attack in any possible sense
  • The attacker was an Iranian refugee with psychological problems
  • Nobody knows what might possibly by the motive for the attack, but what is absolutely certain is that it has nothing to do with Islam
  • In fact Islam has nothing to do with Islam
  • The real victims of this incident are the Australian Muslim community who now face a totally unjustified 'backlash'.
Other points to note for reporters in the main stream media who are still putting their stories together:
  • Do not mention anything at all about the attacker's extensive record of Islamic fundamentalism and Islamic inspired terrorist threats, nor even the Islamist honour killing of his wife (although you can mention that he was involved in the murder of his wife as 'proof' that he was simply a nutter whose previous crimes had nothing to do with Islam)
  • Since pictures of the hostages holding up the black flag of Allah have already been posted, you can refer to the flag as simply a "flag with writing that may be Arabic"
  • Makes sure nobody finds out about the meaning of the flag.
Update: The BBC's main story on the attack today does not contain a single instance of any of the following words: "Muslim", "Islamic", "Islam", "Islamist". It is as complete a cover up as I have ever seen.

"Jews for Justice for Palestinians": bunch of fraudulant bigots

Screenshot of JfJfP Facebook Book (taken 15 Dec 2014 just in case they change it as a result of this story)

"Jews for Justice for Palestinians" (JfJfP) consists of a bunch of extreme leftist obsessive Israel haters with tenuous (and in some cases no) links to Judaism. Like their sister organisation the Palestine Solidarity Campaign they have no interest in the welfare of Palestinians at all - their only objective is the destruction of the Jewish state and everything they do is geared towards that.

How apt then that the banner photo for their facebook site is, like the organisation itself, a complete sham. It is the iconic photo that was exposed last week as a staged fake. The two boys in the photo, taken by American photojournalist Ricki Rosen are both Jews from Jerusalem.

Exclusive: British Government refuses to condemn Jordan's honouring of terrorist murderers

On 20 November I posted an article about the special prayer session held at the opening session of the Parliament in Jordan to honour the two terrorists who committed the Har Nof synagogue massacre. I wrote the following letter to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (fcocorrespondence@fco.gov.uk).

Dear Sir/Madam

The UK has especially close ties with Jordan and we are continually told by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office that Jordan is one of our closest allies in the Middle East and a 'moderate nation fighting extremism'.

Can you therefore tell me what the FCO plans to do about the Jordanian Government honouring (in their opening Parliament session on 19 November 2014) the Palestinian terrorists who carried out the synagogue massacre in Jerusalem on 17 November?

Not only was this essentially a declaration of war against Israel (with whom Jordan has an increasingly worthless 'peace treaty') but it was also an affront to the British government's anti-terrorist policy.

I have previously written to you about the British Government's foreign aid budget going directly to fund Palestinian terrorists and received the less than acceptable response that 'to withdraw funding would only encourage more terrorism'. I would hope on this occasion that the actions of the Jordanian Government at least triggers a formal condemnation from the British Government.
Well I have now had an answer from the FCO.  In order to 'de-escalate tensions' Britain has decided it will not say anything at all to the Jordanians about their support for terrorism. In order to appreciate how appalling this response is you need to remember that the British Goverment never has any qualms about calling in the Israeli ambassador to formally complain about far less serious matters - indeed in the last 3 years Britain has expelled Israeli diplomats from the UK 'in retaliation' for the death of a Hamas terrorist in Dubai that was never even proved to have any Israeli involvement; and  threatened to break off all diplomatic relations with Israel because Israel had the audacity to issue planning permits for building of new homes in its capital city.
Here is the full response:

Dear Mr Davidson,
Thank you for your email of 20 November in regard to the Jordanian Opening of Parliament on 19 November.
Despite Jordan's official condemnation of the synagogue attack the subsequent prayers understandably caused alarm and outrage to many.
As you may be aware, the Foreign Secretary, Philip Hammond, condemned the attack in the strongest possible terms and called on all world leaders to step up and condemn this brutality. Taking this into account we will not be taking further with the Jordanians, we do not consider it a declaration of war against Israel.
The UK highly values its relationship with both Israel and Jordan, and through our partnerships we share the common purpose of ensuring the security and prosperity of both countries. We will continue working to fight terrorism and will support both Israel and Jordan and where ever possible in the fight against Terrorism.
This is a sensitive period for Israel and Jordan, both sides must do everything they can to de-escalate tensions when they occur.

Board of Deputies bullies the Zionist Federation into boycotting pro-Israel speaker

Fresh from voting in the anti-Israel group Yachad, the Board of Deputies has resumed its campaign to silence the voices of any person who exposes the Jihad threat against Israel and Jews. The Board was instrumental in helping to ban Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer from entering the UK. Now they are determined to silence anybody even associated with Pamela Geller. Hence, they have pressured the Zionist Federation into cancelling several talks by Israeli Dr Mordechai Kedar in the UK. The ZF should be ashamed of themselves for succumbing to the Board's pressure.

Who needs to worry about the anti-semitic Israel boycotters like the Palestine Solidarity Campaign bullies and all the rest when our very own Board of Deputies and Zionist Federation is more than happy to do the job for them?

The second exodus from Egypt

Marcel Cohen (1 Dec 2014)
This evening I attended a very interesting presentation (entitled "The Second Exodus") by Marcel Cohen. Through a video and question and answer session he described how a life of relative luxury was abruptly ended when his family - along with many thousands of other Jews - were expelled from Egypt in 1956.

Marcel's family were, like most of the Jews who arrived in Egypt from Europe in the 19th century, middle class. They spoke French at home (he and his siblings attended French catholic schools) and also Arabic. With the rise in Egyptian nationalism in 1927 many Egyptian Jews with European heritage obtained European passports - British in his case, although the family spoke no English.  Marcel said that, prior to 1948 (Israel's independence) there was 'little antisemitism' (more on that later). After 1948 Jews were regarded as foreigners but middle class Jews convinced themselves that antisemitism was restricted only to extremists like the Muslim Brotherhood, and that they would be safe staying in Egypt.

However, all this changed with the Suez crisis in 1956 when Britain seized the Suez canal in alliance with Israel and France after Nasser nationalised it. Suddenly their lives were in danger. Thousands of Jews were arrested overnight and Marcel's family- like many others - were given 10 days to leave the country. With British passports they were able to go to London - but not before signing a declaration that they would never return to Egypt** and renouncing any claim for compensation against the State taking their home and possessions. They were allowed to take just £50 per adult out of the country and a single piece of jewellery per person. When Marcel's family landed in the UK without a place to go and with no jobs for his mother and father,  they were sent to a refugee camp in an army base in Salford before a Jewish refugee organisation arranged for them to come to a Jewish refugee centre in Aldgate.

Marcel spoke of how the family eventually settled well in London but he had two bitter memories. One was his father's death at the age of  46 which he felt was largely caused by him becoming a smoker due to the stress of being forced to leave Egypt (although the failure of a doctor here to spot a heart problem also contributed). The other bitter memory was of being refused entry to Hasmonean School because he could not read Hebrew. This is where his story is a little confused, because he said his lack of knowledge of Hebrew was because in Egypt Jews could not display their Judaism openly in any way at all (which seemed to contradict his earlier statement about no antisemitism in Egypt before 1948) and he contrasted this with the UK where he felt that some Jews like to "shove their Judaism up people's noses".

Family apartment that they were forced to  leave in Cairo
As Marcel made clear at the end of his presentation, less than 20 Jews remain in Egypt out of 80,000 when he lived there. He also spoke about the similar fate of Jews in all other Arab countries (800,000 became refugees in 1948 alone - more than the number of Arabs who left Israel to become the 'Palestinian' refugees).

He noted that it is only very recently that the Israeli government is finally raising this Jewish refugee issue (although organisation like Harif have, of course, been raising awareness for many years). He said it had been a political decision by the Israeli Government to keep the whole issue of the Jewish expulsions 'quiet' because any claims of compensation against Arab governments could lead to claims of compensation by Palestinians against Israel. He said, curiously, that he could never claim compensation because of the declaration his family had signed to leave Egypt (in my view that declaration was illegally obtained under clear duress). He is nevertheless correct about the Israeli government's political decision. As I have written before I believe this is one of the worst decisions the Israelis made, since it enabled the Palestinian refugee narrative to take hold, while the far more serious Jewish refugee narrative was ignored. Moreover, the notion that it would avoid compensation claims by the Palestinians has proved nonsensical. Sadly, the Israel government was advised by extreme leftists on this issue - not because it was in the best interests of Israel but because these leftists did not want the Palestinian refugee issue to be removed from centre stage. In recent years these leftists have even tried to silence Jewish refugees from Arab countries talking about their plight.

Marcel ended with a warning that even Jews in Europe now should not be complacent enough to think that what happened to his family in Egypt could not happen here. He said that, right to the end, the Jews of Egypt could no more imagine that they could be expelled, than Jews in the UK could imagine it happening to them now.

**Marcel spoke about how he did return to Egypt in 2006 as part of an organised tour, and visited his old family apartment, which had changed very little.
