Understanding main stream media jargon about Israel

Media term	Real definition
Pro-Palestinian	Brainwashed anti-Semite who has no interest in the welfare of Palestinians but whose main interest in life is to see Israel destroyed as a Jewish state
Western peace activist in the occupied territories	“Pro-Palestinian” as above who also incites and participates in acts of violence against Israeli civilians and provides cover for terrorists intent on killing Israeli civilians

Israeli settler	A Jew living in Israel
Israeli settlement	A city or town in Israel
Palestinian refugee	(In 95% of the cases) An Arab whose only connection to the land is that they had an ancestor who came to live there (typically from Syria or Egypt) because of the economic opportunities brought by Jews between 1880 and 1948.
Palestinian moderate	An Arab who demands the end of the Jewish State but who is prepared to allow a small number of “pre 1948 Jews” to live there under Sharia law
Israeli moderate	A Jewish Israeli (normally from the Communist Party) who demands the end of the Jewish State.
Israeli extremist	Any Jew  not prepared to hand over the whole of Israel to the unelected, anti-Semitic, corrupt, terrorist supporting Palestinian Authority
Palestinian extremist	On those rare occasions where this term is still used it refers to a Palestinian who has just massacred at least 10 Jews in a terrorist attack
Jewish terrorist	Either a) a Jewish teenager who has written graffiti on a wall; or b) Someone to blame for an unsolved Arab on Arab crime
Palestinian terrorist	This term is not in use.
Occupied territories	Indigenous Jewish areas of East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria now made up of ·         (95%): Jew-free areas under the control of either the Palestinian Authority or the Jordanian Waqf ·         (5%): areas that have had a continuous Jewish presence except between 1948 and 1967 when they were illegally occupied by Jordan

BBC yet again ignores tonight's multiple rocket attacks against Israel civilians

Just sent the following self-explanatory complaint to the BBC.

Several long range rockets were today fired from Gaza by Islamic State (and likely also Hamas) terrorists against Israeli civilians in Ashkelon and Sderot. Can you explain why this failed to gain a mention on any of the BBC News outlets?  It is not even mentioned on the BBC Middle East News section of the website - and it's not even a heavy news day (your current lead national story this evening is "Person on track accident at Twickenham", which just about beats "train arrives late into Waterloo I guess"), Are you simply waiting for Israel to respond before you report anything so that you can write your usual "Israel attacks Gaza" headline? Or are you simply following these Reporting Guidelines?

Martians attacking the Jews again!

When Alexander Levlovich was murdered by Palestinian rock throwers earlier this week the New York Times covered the story with the headline "Jewish Man Dies as Rocks Pelt His Car in East Jerusalem".

This prompted Stephen Flatow to write that the Jewish man's mysterious death must have been caused by Martians.

But the main stream media determination to relieve the Palestinians of any responsibility for their violent actions is not restricted to 'non-Jewish' sources. For today the Jerusalem Post has the headline story "Israeli bus catches fire in East Jerusalem attack"  which again suggests some mysterious non-human intervention. Yet another case of Mars attacks! apparently.

 Looks like I will need to update the Rules and Guidelines for reporting terrorist attacks against Israelis to ensure that the blame for any casualties lies firmly with the Martians.

10 years ago a different refugee crisis triggered a very different international response

This is a follow up to my posting comparing the current Muslim refugee crisis to the Jews in the Holocaust. The propaganda, lies and hypocrisy being pumped out by the main stream media and leftists is becoming nauseating (Daphne Anson covers the bias in this post). It is also worth pointing out:

1. The people shouting the loudest about how the world is not doing enough to help with the current regugee crisis, are the very same people who are most active in trying to bring about a far bigger and more catastrophic refugee crisis.
2. Specifically, they are the very same people who want to see "Palestine free from the river to the sea", i.e. the end of Israel - the only stable democracy in the Middle East - as a Jewish state.
3. If these people got their 'wish' it would certainly lead to the flight of all 6.5 million Jews living there. Moreover, since it would also result in a Hamas/ISIS take over that would lead to the final and total destabilisation of the entire Middle East, ensuring many more millions of Muslims fleeing to Europe. 

Apart from the Israel angle there are other important points about the refugee crisis that are ignored by the main stream media: Such as

1. The irony of leftists/bleeding heart liberals who claim to be dedicated to improving conditions in 3rd world countries, yet insist that all the best and brightest people from those countries must be allowed to leave and live in the west.
2. The continued refusal to demand that wealthy Muslim countries take responsibility for their own crisis. The left's inherent racism is driving this - they think the refugees 'deserve better' than to be resettled in 'non-progessive' Muslim countries.
3. The refusal to acknowledge that the new Muslim refugees in Europe will bring not just their antisemitic, homophobic prejudices, but also the same Muslim wars to the streets of Europe. Read this for a taste of what to expect much more widely. 
4. The refusal to acknowledge that, while it is Islam that is causing these people to flee, Islam is still the one thing they are determined to bring with them.

Watford FC take 'action' against Corbyn's son Ben for his anti-Israel blood libel postings

This is an update to this story I posted a couple of weeks ago about Jeremy Corbyn's son Ben who was using his Facebook page for the dual purpose of publicizing his Watford FC affiliation and pushing anti-Israel propaganda including blood libels.  

I have had the following response from Richard Walker who is Head of Media & Communications at Watford FC:

I have followed up asking exactly what the 'appropriate action' was. Also I know another person who wrote a letter to Watford FC over two weeks ago who has not yet had a response.  What is interesting is that, in his rambling acceptance speech yesterday, Jeremy Corbyn complained about the media attacking his family which is curious since I reckon I might be only person who has attempted to expose the disgusting views of his sons. I doubt if Corbyn is aware of my blog, but maybe the fact that Watford took some action against his son as a result of my 'probe' is what riled him. If so - good.

Can a Marxist, Western-hating, anti-Israel bigot be elected leader of the country?

Most people are assuming that Corbyn can never be elected Prime Minister. Obviously, a Marxist, Western-hating, anti-Israel bigot could never be elected leader of a major English speaking country ...

The only main difference is that Obama really did enjoy slavish devotion by the entire main stream media - which is unlikely Corbyn will get from the UK. But note that Corbyn will enter into an electoral pact with the SNP, Greens, Welsh Nationalists and Respect (all of whom have identical views to him) while also taking 90% of the LibDem votes. Even on the 2015 results that will create a majority far-left block, which will result in Corbyn as PM. Dangerous times ahead.

Arabs massacred by Americans in day of tit-for-tat violence

The cycle of violence in America spiralled out of control today when a series of violent incidents left thousands dead, including many Arab and Muslim civilians. UN sources and Al Jazeera have confirmed that many of the Arabs killed were refugee children who had fled from oppression. American claims that they too suffered “many civilian deaths” have been strongly denied by the UN-affiliated relief workers in the Al Qaeda organisation who maintain that the only Americans killed were military personnel and illegal settlers.

The violence started when one of five unarmed Arab civilians, who boarded a 767 aircraft in Boston, was refused permission to fly the plane, despite having a valid flying licence. The American authorities have been imposing increasingly tight restrictions on the freedom of movement of Arab civilians within the US. This humiliation to their dignity has created, not unsurprisingly, deep anger and resentment among Muslims in the US. When the fully qualified pilot was denied the opportunity to work in his chosen profession, he became understandably angry. The outnumbered Arab men were then attacked by members of the crew, but what really happened next may never be known. What is certain is that all of the five Arab civilians were killed, along with the plane’s other occupants (primarily military and intelligence personnel along with some illegal American settlers) when the plane crashed into the North tower of the World Trade Center. Al Jaziera and the UN confirmed that the building (which housed a mosque) contained many Arab refugee children, who were all killed in the attack along with a number of Muslim workers. Some illegal American settlers dressed as businessmen may also have perished.

As news of the Muslim civilian deaths became known, it is believed that Arabs on another aircraft reacted with understandable passion, battling with military and security personnel. This plane soon crashed into the south tower of the Word Trade Center. After this second crash the US military ordered an unprecedented grounding of all civilian flights over US airspace, thus denying all Muslims living in the US the right to travel. On hearing news of this racist attack on their human rights and livelihood, a group of Arab militants on another airplane mounted a daring tit-for-tat strike. With nothing else to lose, and in sheer desperation, the militants crashed the plane they were travelling in into the very heart of the brutal US military machine – the Pentagon – killing scores of soldiers.

In an escalation of the violence - and without any United Nations mandate  - the US military responded by threatening to shoot down any airplane still flying that was piloted by Arab Muslims. This brutal, illegal and racist measure led to the final, and most outrageous act of violence of the day, committed by a group of self-styled American settler vigilantes aboard flight 93 to San Francisco. On learning that their airplane was being flown by an Arab pilot, the American settlers took it upon themselves to massacre all the Muslim Arabs on board. In the ensuing struggle the Arab pilot was savagely killed and the plane crashed into a field, killing all the occupants, many of whom were Muslim refugee children. The US military is likely to have to accept full responsibility for the final massacre, since they had given messages to the settler passengers on board flight 93 that the Arab pilots were planning to crash the plane into the White House, even though no proof of such a wild conspiracy had been presented to the United Nations. The French and German leaders have already demanded a UN enquiry into the massacre of Arab civilians.

It is expected that any UN enquiry will also determine the cause of the complete collapse of both of the twin towers. Early evidence provided by reliable sources from the Palestinian Authority, The Syrian Government, the New York Times and Liberal Arts Professor Ward Churchill suggests that this must have been a joint operation between the CIA and the Israeli Mossad.
